This is really a cool mod in my opinion, though with my new trim system it's not as critical as it would have been with the pushrod actuated trim.

I'm modeling it after Paul Minelga's design, which adds a small steel crossbar at the bottom of the tail longerons to provide a clean stringer terminus. Instead of fabric under the tail, a thin aluminum belly pan will be attached to tabs.
