The stock BH fuselage is equipped with a tab for mounting a 3-point harness setup, which is the diagonal-style like in a car. Many of us prefer a 4-point setup like are common in Super Cubs, et al.
The overhead crossbar/carry-through spar in the BH 4-place is nearly overhead the head of a taller pilot when his seat is positioned to accommodate. The optimum angle for the shoulder harness straps is nowhere near achievable. For this reason, using a mount point for the inertia reel well aft of the pilot is preferable. But there's not much to choose from in the BH fuselage!
The solution, co-engineered with akschu, is to mount the reel directly behind the rear carry-through, routed the seatbelt webbing aft, then reverse direction on a newly-added crossbar, then forward to the pilot.
